Rahim Basit, also known by his stage name, ‘Freekid,’
was born and brought up in Ibadan. Freekid is a new sensation in town who
doesn't allow his disability to stop his advancement. He has been blind since
shortly after birth. He's a tireless hard worker whose passion for music is
inexplicable.
‘Freekid’ has already caught the attention and interests
of the shakers and movers of Nigerian music industry, like Wasiu Alabi Pasuma,
Taiye currency, Small doctor, etc. And being “discovered” is just a part of the
journey. Being prepared is a journey of its own; Freekid may be young, but his
preparation for stardom and greatness conquers all insufficiency and

His style of music is Fuji fused with Afro and Hip-hop, which will not fail to
resonate with you.

that he plans to release soon; among them is “No Kompromise ”. It's deftly
